In the final moments of the endearing Chinese Super League (CSL) title race, Haigang was able to hold on for the championship title with a 2-1 victory over Tianjin Quanjian at the Shenyang Sports Center Stadium.

The match started off with a goal from Tianjin's Zhang Yuhuan in the 5th minute, but Haigang quickly responded and equalized through a goal from midfielder Wang Zhe in the 24th minute. In the second half, Haigang continued to dominate the game and took the lead through goals from Li Xiaoyu and Guo Rui in the 68th and 77th minutes respectively. Tianjin tried hard to come back, but Haigang held on for the win and secured their first CSL title since 2019.

This is a significant achievement for Haigang as they have been one of the most consistent teams in the CSL this season. They finished third in the regular season and then went on to secure their spot in the playoffs by defeating Beijing Guoan and Guangzhou Evergrande. In the playoffs, they defeated Shanghai SIPG and Wuhan Zall to reach the final where they beat Tianjin Quanjian.

The title race has been an intense battle between Tianjin Quanjian and Shanghai Shenxin, both of whom had been competing for the title all season. However, Haigang managed to hold on until the very end, securing their place in history as the champions of the CSL.

The victory also marks a comeback for Haigang after they were knocked out of the league last year. The team has shown resilience and determination throughout the season, and it will be interesting to see how they perform next season.
